My name is Bill Keay and I am a Realtor with Re/max Solid Gold Realty (ll) Ltd., Brokerage.  My business has an emphasis in two main areas: residential property and investment property.

My passion for real estate started while I was teaching Business Studies at a local area high school in Waterloo. The school is very close to Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo and many staff members at the high school had student investment properties.

So I wanted to learn more about being a landlord so I joined the REIN, the Real Estate Investment Network in 2004 and I have not looked back since. My wife and I have obtained a bronze pin for investing from the REIN network.

Moreover, I became a member of WRAMA, the Waterloo Region Apartment Managers Association in 2005.  Both REIN and WRAMA have given me the knowledge and confidence that I have to be an investor and to help my investor clients become great landlords! My business is based on repeat and referral business so I make it a point to have great service!

Since I am newer to the business I have a lot of energy to serve my clients.  However, I am not new to Real Estate Investmnent.  Also, I have the time available to serve my clients personally and give lots of attention to details and communication.  I am an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and have taken courses on negotiation skills.  Furthermore, I have recently taken the multiple offers seminar to help my Seller clients get more money for their listings when they go into multiple offer situations. 

I am a volunteer on the board of the Westvale Community Association.  I am volunteer director of a condo board that I invest in.  Also, I am a volunteer with the KW Real Estate Board’s Events committee.
